Chain Saw Chain Sharpening
Service Description
Have you been using your saw and found that it's "just not cutting like it used to"? Or maybe its pulling to one side? This can be the effect of a dull chain. And aside from being inefficient and making your job take longer, consistently running a dull chain can actually be harmful to your chain saw, and in some cases can eventually lead to engine seizure.
Ensuring you are running a sharp chain as often as possible is the best way to prevent this.
WHATS DONE?
- Sharpen dull chain back to "like new" state.
- On-unit or off-unit service available.
- A $2.00 charge will be added if the chain rakers need to be filed down.
- A small labour fee may be applied for the time to remove and install chain for on-unit services.
Note: Sometimes a chain may be too worn out to be sharpened, if this is the case we will let you know.
